Golf Course

Berkeley Country Club offers a championship 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Hunter & Willie Watson. In 2012 Forrest Richardson & Associates completed a golf course renovation that entailed restoring all 18 greens and 44 bunkers to their classic design and shapes.

Clubhouse

The English Tudor Clubhouse was designed by prominent Bay Area architect Walter Ratcliff Jr. and opened in 1921. Over time renovations have updated and expanded the clubhouse while maintaining the integrity of the original design.

Food & Beverage

The Hunter Grill is casual elegance in an unmatched setting. Here we pay homage to Berkeley Country Club Member, Green Committee Member, and course designer Robert Hunter. The Lakeside dining room is a casual dining space adjoining the Hunter Grill. The Lakeside dining room is the perfect place for settling up bets post round and catching up with the latest sports on television over an adult beverage.

Fitness Center

Our 1,000 square foot fitness center on the second floor of the main clubhouse has cardio, strength, and stretching equipment to keep your body fit for golf and life.

Locker Rooms

We have fully appointed Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms with a shoe attendant providing full service shoe shine and spike services.

Social Events

Berkeley Country Club has a robust calendar of events offering numerous opportunities for our members to socialize and gather to celebrate our shared passions of golf, exceptional food and beverage, and the joy of spending time reminiscing with one another.

Ballrooms & Meeting Space:

The Clubhouse features the Bay Ballroom, Vista Room, Vista Deck, and Boardroom all taking advantage of our wonderful vistas with a vast panorama that stretches from the Bay Bridge to the South, encompassing the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge, then all the way north to the San Rafael Bridge, this venue truly offers a one-of-a-kind experience for that perfect day.
