The 'new' Berkeley Country Club remains a testament to the Golden Age of Golf in America and the vision of two legendary golf architects, Robert Hunter and Willie Watson. Challenging yet playable for all skill levels, Berkeley Country Club is back and ready to delight a new generation of Bay Area golfers. Located in El Cerrito, California, we take great pride in the many amenities and services that we offer, but it is our Members that are our most valuable asset.

Membership Levels

Equity Membership: Enjoy full golf and social privileges of Membership. Includes full equity and voting privileges. 

Associate Membership: Created as an opportunity for young members to experience Berkeley Country Club and have a path to becoming an Equity Member upon turning 40 years of age. Includes the use of our clubhouse dining, fitness center, social events and activities, and full golf privileges including the driving range and practice facilities. Applicant must be 39 years of age or younger to qualify for the Associate Membership category. This is a non-equity membership

Social Membership: Includes the use of our clubhouse dining, fitness center, social events and activities and limited golf privileges including the driving range and practice facilities. This membership entitles you to enjoy our dining experience six days a week and Members' social events. This is a non-equity membership.

Corporate Membership: Requires two to four employees of a company. The Corporate Primary Member has full access to the Club similar as an Equity Member. Corporate Designees have limited access to the Club.

2024 Preview Membership: Experience the Club for two months for a low fee! Includes golf and social privileges of Membership. This is a non-equity membership and ends after 60 days.
